Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I get non-alcoholic beer and wine at the buffet?
You can get non-alcoholic beer and wine in the buffet restaurants. Ask one of our friendly buffet staff members, and they’ll gladly assist you.
- Are alcoholic drinks available at the buffet?
Enjoy complimentary beer and wine on tap at the buffet, and feel free to purchase other alcoholic beverages. Just give a friendly nudge to our buffet staff and they’ll be delighted to help you with your beverage choice.
- Do you have any special discounts for dietary requirements?
While we don’t have specific discounts for vegans, vegetarians, or guests with other special dietary needs like post-gastric sleeve surgery, our buffet restaurants’ have diverse options. You’ll find gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan choices aplenty. However, we recommend our à la carte restaurants for a more tailored dining experience for those with severe food allergies.
- If 12 people are on the reservation, is it necessary to preorder from a group menu at the à la carte restaurant?
Yes, if your group includes at least 12 adults you need to order from a group menu in advance. But if your group of 12 includes children, feel free to order as you like without sticking to the group menu – we’ve got options to delight everyone.
- Do children get a discount at à la carte restaurants?
Children aged 0–17 can choose from the children’s à la carte or the regular menu. We offer a discount up to 25% on our regular menu for children of all ages, which means the portions are half-sized – perfect for smaller appetites. While this discount is available to children of any age, we recommend these half-sized portions for kids up to 11. If a dish can’t be served in half a portion, it may not be suitable for the discount, but our delightful children’s menu is always a fantastic option for our younger guests.
- If I purchase a buffet meal option, can I apply its cost to dining at a different restaurant?
When there are available seats, you can choose to dine at one of the other onboard restaurants instead of the buffet. In such a case, you can use the amount reserved for the buffet to pay your bill at the restaurant. You’ll need to present your boarding card or a meal coupon to do this. You can also use the amount at a café, Burger King (excluding self-service kiosks), or Fast Lane.
If you’d like to upgrade from the buffet breakfast to a special breakfast, you will need to pay the difference in price at the à la carte restaurant.
- Can minors eat alone in a buffet restaurant?
An adult must accompany children under 12 at the buffet. Those aged 12–17 can visit the buffet without an adult. However, our staff reserves the right to restrict unaccompanied minors from the restaurant if there’s a concern about alcohol consumption, such as in cases of large groups of young people. In such scenarios, these minors will be directed to other dining areas on the ship.
- How long is my table reserved for me?
Please note that we will hold your table reservation, excluding breakfast, for 15 minutes after your confirmed reservation time. After this period, the reservation will expire to accommodate other guests.
- Can I buy a meal package only for a cruise trip?
Yes, a meal package can only be purchased for a cruise trip. It is not possible to buy a meal package for a one-way or round-trip ferry crossing.
